What We Do

More than 1000 people each year are finding help in time of trouble through this ministry of area churches cooperating in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia. We share God's love with those in need. People Helping People has volunteers trained to interview persons and assess their needs. In some cases, we are able to help them obtain assistance directly; for certain kinds of need we are able to refer them to other services available in our community also.

Of each dollar contributed to PHP, 97¢ goes directly to client assistance. We can do this because we have an all-volunteer staff.
