How can I help? * Call the office to volunteer interviewing clients for a few hours each week * Check to see if your congregation is already helping PHP financially; thank the budgeting committee. If they are not, arrange for a contact with one of our staff or board members by calling the office. * Consider whether you might be able to volunteer with driving persons to job interviews or medical appointments or to reach a train or bus as needed. These needs come up somewhat rarely, but we would be glad to be able to call on volunteers. * Make a contribution to PHP. It's easy on this website, it's tax deductible and it's a great way to make sure that some of your compassion donations actually reach real neighbors in need, with very low administrative costs thanks to all our volunteers.
